Lightweight

quite expensive. this is super lightweight but effective. i mix this with my moisturizer. since i am young i don't see it reducing wrinkles but felt my skin smoother.

My first try on this was simply awesome!

I was initially skeptical about the potential to be somewhat irritating since it's a 1% concentration and I haven't used a retinol product before. But much to my surprise, I didn't get any feeling of irritation at all. It helps to refine my skin texture and reduce my acne scars & hyperpigmentation.

HG retinol

This is another HG which helps with acne, congestion and texture all the while being hydrating and gentle very very minimal irritation considering its high strength.

Gentle yet effective

i've been using the 1% retinol booster for about 1.5 years now and it's the only retinol i've tried that's both gentle and effective. i'm 49 yrs old w/ an oily t-zone, large pores, and rosacea prone cheeks & chin. i started out using this one night per week then gradually took a year to build up to every night. my skin looks younger, smoother, & brighter now. just out of curiosity i've tried out a few other brands to see if they worked any better, but they either caused my rosacea to flare up or were too gentle to be effective. i'm sticking w/ the paula's choice retinol booster. i recently started adding the paula's choice 2% BHA liquid exfoliant two nights per week in place of the retinol to help clear my pores and have had great results w/ no adverse effects. it's helped my skin look even more clear & radiant.
